The showcasing of the Berber rugs starts right after you have some of our sweet Moroccan mint tea; mandatory hosting duties. Tasting our tea is the grounding moment that you need to get your senses ready for the ultimate sensory experience that you will immerse in. You will be smelling wool, touching all kinds of textures, feeling every stitch, charged with the energy that the ladies who spend months on each masterpiece have channeled into it. You can even take your shoes off and get a sneak peek of what your future rug will feel like if you walk barefoot on it or even lay down on it after a long work day.

You will be seeing all kinds of colors: we use the prettiest natural dyes (such as rose, saffron, marigold and indigo amongst many others!). Your eyes will also be laying on all sorts of symbols; our logo, for example, is the symbol for “the woman”. It represents female genitalia, and thus fertility. Do not be surprised by the intense female energy that you will definitely be sensing in our store; we are a group of women empowering each other in this cooperative.

Many more symbols are hidden in our rugs and our team will be delighted to help you spot them and explain them to you.
