Authentic Handmade Moroccan Rugs

The classic sizes of a rug are as follows:

Small – Berber rug 4’x6′ (60×110 / 80×150 cm) and smaller  – are suitable for entryways and bedrooms.

Medium sized – Berber rug 5’x8′ , 6’x9′ (120×170 / 170×240 cm) – are perfect for medium to large sized bedrooms and living rooms.

Large – Moroccan rug 8’x10′ (200×290 cm) and more – will ideally fill large living rooms and large dining rooms.

A “Runner” (10’x 2.5’) carpet has a length at least 3 times greater than the width. Hallway rugs are perfect for embellishing those often cramped spaces that are difficult to decorate and enhance. They will bring a personal touch to this passage space.

Pet friendly

Our Boucherouite rugs are definitely our most pet friendly, as you can see in these pictures that our proud dog owner clients have sent us.

Our other rugs can also work perfectly if your cat’s claws are trimmed regularly, there will be less risks to have the claws stuck in the dense loops. Go for darker colors if you’re worried about stains, and for colors similar to your pet’s fur if the hair is also a concern!
